An interview about influenza in the Tacoma Weekly

I was interviewed for an article in the local Tacoma Weekly about influenza and vaccination for influenza. Here's the link: Tacoma Weekly influenza article
It was fun but difficult for Steve Dunkelberger and I to connect for the interview. I was in the car driving between Good Samaritan Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital - back to back to back meetings.
I thought he did a fine job on the article. I liked the title:

Battle Over Flu Shots Involves More Brain Than Arm

It's true, wish we could get through some thick heads and get more people to get their flu shots.
At the time we hadn't seen much influenza activity. Looks like things are starting to pick up. No lab confirmed flu, but we're seeing more "influenza-like-illness" (ILI). Dont' wait...get your vaccine!

See that little bump on the far right? That's the beginning of the flu season.
